What services does the Council provide?


The Council is responsible for the overall management of Hakka affairs. There are four departments that offer services to Hakka villagers and all those concerned with Hakka affairs.

·      Department of Planning

The Department of Planning is chiefly responsible for determining policy directions, and is divided into the Policy Planning Section, Supervision and Evaluation Section, and Overseas Affairs Section. For details, please contact the Department of Planning.

The Department of Culture and Education focuses on Hakka, culture and education and the dissemination of the Hakka; it is divided into the Culture and Arts Section, Language Education Section, and Cultural Heritage Section. For details, please contact the Department of Culture and Education.

·      Department of Industrial Economy
