Traveling to the US in Hakka was published in Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia in early 2023 with funding from HAC. It chronicles the author's real-life story—the twists and turns of her studies and life in the US as a 17-year-old girl—in 10 fun and vivid themed sub-stories. Particularly, the book depicts landscapes unique to the American West. Combining pictures and text, readers are able to immerse themselves in the author's own experiences. There are also many mentions of Hakka dishes, such as the classic Hakka-style braised pork belly, fermented black soybeans, and dried radish. Not only that, the author also unreservedly shares her grandmother's own recipes for making these delicacies! In addition, every chapter has a small section teaching Hakka vocabulary, helping readers to easily learn Hakka as they enjoy the book with the help of beautiful illustrations. One of this book's aims is to enable the Hakka language and culture to live on.

There's even a set of Grace's Universe - Daily Life stickers with Hakka and English available on the LINE messaging app. These contain mostly everyday phrases in the Southern Sixian variation, 16 in total, including "thank you", "okay", and "happy". You can also go to the LINE STORE to download the stickers and learn both Hakka and English in a fun manner!
