Deputy Minister Chung said that the e-voucher can be used at designated stores in 70 key development areas of Hakka culture across Taiwan, adding that so far more than 1,500 shops have joined in the e-voucher program, and the number is continuing to increase. He hopes that the Hakka e-voucher will not only boost local economy in Hakka settlements but also allow visitors to experience Hakka villagers’ hospitality.

Giving more information on collecting the electronic voucher, HAC will send a text message to the final-round winners on Nov. 10.  The recipients can claim their voucher’s QR code as long as they click the link in the message and enter the last four digits of their ID number. The e-voucher can be used from Nov. 15 until April 30, 2022.

Five representatives of shopkeepers that partake in the Hakka e-voucher program from Hsinchu, Miaoli, Kaohsiung, and Hualien were invited for the launch of discount plan, hoping to entice people to spend in Hakka villages.
